Vitatech Multivitamin & Mineral Active And Vitamin C - Product Review

As a coach and massive advocate of multivitamins and minerals, I decided to give the Vitatech range a try to see how well I felt these products worked for me.

About the products

So, having got hold of the multivitamin complex and some additional vitamin C, I made these two products a part of my everyday stack. The multivitamin and mineral stack contains 30 tabs of a fully dosed complex which contains every essential vitamin and mineral that your body needs and uses to perform its daily processes. The amount of each individual vitamin contained is not underdosed, yet neither is it overdosed which is great as a lot of the individual vitamins and minerals used by the body gets tossed aside as waste when being processed. This ensures that you are getting just the right amount of what you need from each individual item and works even better when coupled with a complete and balanced diet.

The Vitamin C comes in fully dosed at 1000mg per tab. This product has 30 tabs per bottle and is very well priced for the amount of Vit C per tab that you are getting. As South Africans sitting amidst one of the coldest winters we have experienced, this product definitely ranks as extremely useful at the moment.

Usability

For both the vitamin C and the multivitamin complex, I found that the tablet size was very user-friendly. Normally, a fully dosed multivitamin that comes in a single tablet is quite bulky, smells horrible and leaves a gross taste on your tongue when you take it. However, this multivitamin tablet is much smaller than your normal multivitamin tablets and has a less pungent smell, which makes it much easier for you to swallow.

In the same breath, the Vitamin C tablet is also quite small compared to its extremely bulky counterparts found in other brands. I discovered that taking this product was extremely easy and did not require much thought or “hyping up” when trying to carefully swallow it.

Many people (like myself), really do not enjoy taking copious amounts of tablets and generally gag when tablets are too bulky or find that we must cut the tablets in half just to swallow them. I never once had this issue with either of these products, making both of them a not so hard to swallow pill.

Dosages

The multivitamin and mineral complex is an easy 1-tablet-per-day product. This will give you a useful 1-months’ supply of these tabs.

The vitamin C is slightly more complex and is an individual preference thing. As a coach and competing physique athlete, I recommend taking between 2 to 4 doses of this product a day. Generally, I would only take 2 but that is dependent on the season, how lean a person is, and their susceptibility to contract an illness. During winter, I would say a daily dose of 3 to 4 tablets would be a good amount to ensure that an individual stays healthy and wards off passing illnesses. During warmer seasons, a daily dose of 2 1000mg tabs is sufficient.

Rating

Overall, I give this product a 4/5 for its dosages, pricing, and user-friendliness.
